Arts, Education, Entertainment

The North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education, located in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, works to achieve its mission through professional development programs, advocacy projects and collaborative initiatives among artists, arts organizations and educators.

We engage teachers, administrators, artists, cultural organizations and parents in strengthening quality arts education throughout a region that is known for its cultural and educational richness.

Learning and participation in music, dance, theater, and the visual arts are profitable to the development of our children and our communities.

Through advocacy, partnerships, and professional development, North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education strives to provide and secure more resources and support for arts education.

The North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education recognizes the importance of arts learning both within schools (in non-arts and arts classrooms) and beyond school walls in the community (art centers and museums).

Some NCAFAE participants have a particular interest in educational partnerships among schools and arts institutions.

Within these contexts, core learning in the programs address arts-related issues in educational practices.

Beyond that, NCAFAE participants expand their interests around the arts in education.

Art forms in which NCAFAE participants express interest include visual art, writing, drama, dance, and music.
